REFLECTIONS AND MIRRORS
Tunnel Vision
I must make that thundering train
There can't be failure, my faith can't abate
Else I'll suffer the everlasting strain
Stuck in this cycle, I'll always remain
In this station, bound to my only fate—
I need to make that thundering train
On track, I'm lost—but I must fight the pain.
I cannot fall behind, cannot be late
Else I'll suffer the everlasting strain
Each time I leap, I only contain
Myself to a new fate, another time to hate.
Do I have to make that thundering train?
I need to focus, stay in my own lane
I have no time to stray, no chance to wait
Else I'll suffer the everlasting strain
I wake, I repeat, endless is this chain
I'll die, I'll rise, crushed and destinate
To make that endlessly thundering train
Just to suffer that everlasting strain.
